Kruger Park & Panoramic Route

Itinerary

Day 1: Depart from Pretoria / Johannesburg  towards  Graskop
We travel eastwards and cross parts of the Mpumalanga Highveld. Towns such as Witbank (South Africa’s coal capital with more than 22 collieries in its boundaries). Middelburg (Africa’s biggest stainless steel factory is situated next to this town). Belfast (Hadaeco tulip farm, the biggest tulip bulb exporter to Europe). Dullstroom (South Africa’s trout fishing mecca). Lydenburg at the foot of the well-known Long tom pass. Sabie (South Africa’s forestry capital). Graskop is situated on the edge of the Drakensberg escarpment and the lowveld with its scenic views, Blyderiver canyon, Bourke’s luck potholes, God’s Window & The Pinnacle.
Overnight at Graskop or vicinity.

Day 2: Graskop  towards  Kruger Park
After breakfast we drive along a scenic road over Kowyn’s pass and decent about 650m within 45km by the time we reach Hazyview, South Africa’s banana capital, our next stop will be one of the Kruger Park gates where we will enjoy the nature and wildlife of this great park. We can arrange a night-drives, for your account.
Overnight inside Kruger Park at one of the Camps.

Day 3: Kruger Park
We will visit some of the park's camps and picnic sites and enjoys game spotting with all the beauty of nature. We can arrange a night-drives, for your account. A visit to the Stevenson – Hamilton museum is also possible.

Day 4: Kruger Park  towards  Graskop
We will visit some of the park's camps and picnic sites and enjoys game spotting with all the beauty of nature. Late afternoon we will return to Graskop.

Day 5: Graskop  towards  Pretoria / Johannesburg
After breakfast we will drive via the town, Sabie, SA forest capital, many saw mills, visit some of the waterfalls before we will cross the Drakensberg Mountains via the Long Tom Pass with exquisite views before we reach the town Lydenburg when we will travel via Dullstroom towards Johannesburg or Pretoria.

Kruger Park & Panorama Route

6 Days (5 nights)

Itinerary

Day 1: Depart from Johannesburg towards Marc’s Treehouse camp next to Kruger Park. On the way, from Nelspruit, the capital of Mpumalanga, we will travel towards Tremisana Game Lodge, situated in the Balule section of Kruger Park, after a break we will travel further with per open vehicle for a sunset drive. After dark your ranger will use a spotlight spotting & identifying the nocturnal mammals what you come across. You will drive to the magnificent Marc’s Treehouse Lodge where you will be staying. Dinner at the lodge in the boma with open fire if weather permits.

Day 2: After breakfast we travel with an open vehicle inside Kruger Park for fantastic game viewing opportunity & an African experience of animals, birds & beautiful nature for the full day, in the company of your guide. Late afternoon we return towards your camp for a wonderful dinner.

Day 3: After breakfast a visit to Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, this centre cares for the orphaned & injured animals & birds. After lunch a 3 – 4 hours nature walk inside Kruger Park with their armed rangers. They will try to track down some of the wild animals inside the park for excellent photo opportunities. An experience of a lifetime!!! After the walk you return to the camp for dinner.

Day 4: Another full day with an open vehicle inside Kruger Park for fantastic game viewing opportunity & an African experience of animals, birds & beautiful nature, in the company of your guide. Late afternoon we return towards your camp for a wonderful dinner.

Day 5: After breakfast a visit to Kapama endangered wildlife centre, for a guided tour and experience close encounters with cheetah, wild dogs & lots of other animals at the centre. After lunch we visit Balule section of Kruger Park again for a late afternoon drive. After dark your ranger will use a spotlight spotting & identifying the nocturnal mammals what you come across. You return to the camp for a lovely dinner.

Day 6: An early morning game walk with your ranger, hope to get you to in touch with nature. After breakfast you will travel towards the Panoramic route and visiting the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon, the 3rd largest canyon in the world, the amazing Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the wonderful God’s Window & unbelievable Three Rondawels, before you return back to Johannesburg at ± 16h00 at the airport.

Day 1:
Depart early morning (06h00), after breakfast from your hunting camp. Travel to the world famous Kruger National Park (KNP). On our way we could visit some interesting places or attractions, we pass through Musina. We could enter the KNP at Pafuri Gate for some game spotting inside the Kruger Park.  Dinner will be served at the camp restaurant. Overnight inside the KNP.

Depart from Camp at 06h00, for an early morning game drive. Breakfast at a Camp. Spend another day in the KNP traveling south, in search of the “Big 5”, and a host of other animals. The KNP are 19,685 square kilometers with its 17 eco-zones  is known to be the most diverse park in the world with ± 147 mammals, ± 119 reptiles, ± 520 birds, ± 55 amphibians and ± 1980 plant species. Lunch along the way and dinner will be served at the camps restaurant. Overnight inside the park. 
Optional activities: Enjoy a sunset or evening game drive in an open vehicle with a Kruger park ranger.

Travel the “Panorama Route” of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, visiting places such as God’s Window and the Blyde River Canyon - which is the third deepest canyon in the world. Drive via Ohrigstad, Lydenburg & Dullstroom before traveling to Pretoria. Dinner will be served at a Restaurant. Overnight at Pretoria. 
Meals: B - Breakfast, L – Lunch, D - Dinner

Day 5:
The morning at leisure or we could visit the Sterkfontein Caves, also known as “The Cradle of Humankind” or visit Soweto – the largest black city in Africa, or a Pretoria City tour. There will be time for last minute shopping before your departure. Drop-off at O R Tambo International in time for your flight home.

We could enter the KNP at Phalaborwa Gate for some game spotting inside the Kruger Park.  Dinner will be served at the camp restaurant. Overnight inside the KNP.

Machadodorp, Waterval Boven & Onder towards Nelspruit, the capital of the Mpumalanga province & a mecca of sub-tropical fruits & nuts. From Nelspruit you travel pass Malelane, Hoedspruit & Komatipoort, or you can quickly hop into the world renowned Kruger Park at Malelane and exit at Komatipoort, before you enter Mozambique at the Lebombo border post. After entering Mozambique you travel towards Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. Overnight at the Pestana Rovuma Hotel in Maputo.
